Over 20 years ago, Patricia Peck anticipated, in one of the first books to discuss Digital Law, that a new area of practice was emerging in the legal market, driven by technology. If society was changing, law would do the same.
It wasn’t a separate discipline, but an interdisciplinary field that would encompass all areas of law and permeate all aspects of clients’ businesses.
This pioneering work was only possible with clients who also anticipated the future, along with a team of lawyers who decided to embrace a topic that hadn’t even yet become a discipline in law schools.
Peck Advogados believes in law that integrates traditional practices and knowledge and goes beyond, to drive and enable digital innovation in organizations. To this end, our work involves creating solutions for needs that often lack specific legislation, serving as a basis for the development of new laws.
Since then, we have become the pioneering and leading firm in this practice, which we have helped to consolidate in the private, public, and academic sectors in Brazil.
